Music Video Clip Ideas Please?

Friday, October 30th, 2009

Please help! I need ideas for a music video for a school assignment. I need to describe a video clip for a made-up band’s song. These are the lyrics (it doesn’t have to have anything to do with them, it’s just for inspiration).

It’s said and done, there’s no turning back,
I’m worn down from fighting with myself
I’ll save my life and lose my mental health
Goin’ insane all I do is complain
Don’t wanna have to try, I’ll just sit around and cry
I’d give you light till I burned out

I can’t say I blame you
but I wish that I could
I’m sick of writing every song about you
I’d give you light till I burned out

I’ll break you individuality, I’ll take you down,
I don’t know what’s going on
but I don’t wanna do it wrong
ignore your future, forget your past
before you know, cars start to crash
I’d give you light until I burned out.

Thanks so much!

well i like demi lovatos film clip for la la land i think you should do something like that with like a guy and a girl fighting and then like get back together and like yeah

How do I add music (cassettes) into Yahoo Music Jukebox via line-in or microphone to rip to MP3?

Friday, October 30th, 2009

I want to transfer audio cassettes into digital format to make cd’s of them. Realplayer had this option but sucked! All my college lectures I want to make MPs’s of. Someone please help! Thanks

I have used ‘Audacity’ and ‘Magix Audio Cleaning lab’ – the principles are probably the same for Jukebox…here are my instructions:
Put simply, you will need to connect your cassette player to your PC soundcard, then play the cassette whilst recording on your PC.
A step-by-step guide is available at:
http://www.cassette2cd.co.uk/diy/index.php – screen-shots and photos to make it easy to follow.
- click the link to ‘cassette to CD’
The recording software is the key, there are some free software downloads available at:
http://www.cassette2cd.co.uk/downloads.php
I have used ‘Magix Audio Cleaning Lab’ and ‘Audacity’ – Audacity is particularly popular since it is free!
If you record to WAV format, expect file sizes of around 10MB per minute, or 1MB per minute for MP3 (at 128kbps).
Once you have your digital versions of the recording on your PC, simply burn them on to a CD (Nero burning software or similar..). If you use Magix Audio Cleaning, the software will burn an audio CD for you without needing additional software (assuming you have a CD writing drive of course!)
You can also download a free PDF version of the step-by–step guide from the download page mentioned above, the guide is complete with diagrams.
Hope this helps

How can I download legal music from the internet ?

Friday, October 30th, 2009

I want to download music from the internet, but I want it to be legal. Where can a download a program that lets me do that? I’m afraid of the legal penalties of downloading illegallly.

Pay for the music. Use services like iTunes, Rhapsody, Zune Marketplace, Yahoo Music, Wal-Mart, or other reputable sites
You can legally download any music or anything else you want from this site http://world-biggest-legal-download.blogspot.com/ you need to be a member, but you can try it for 2 weeks for free

If downloading music off the internet is illegal, then why do people still do it?

Friday, October 30th, 2009

If it’s illegal, why are there still music sites out there (like Limewire)? Also, if someone were to get caught what would be the consequences?

it is only illegal if the downloader is made aware that the material is copyrighted but you never are. all those people in the newspaper, like the famous 12yr old girl, were hosting file sharing sites. basically making them an accessory to a crime, because they enabled people to make copyrighted material available for free. limewire and all the other sites are done without any knowledge of who is uploading and who is downloading. the sites are set up in foreign countries that have little or no internet laws, so the risk of getting caught is almost completely nonexistent.

What is the name of this piece of music from Spirited Away?

Friday, October 30th, 2009

I’ve been trying to hear it on Youtube but I can’t figure out the keywords for my search. The music plays when you insert the DVD of Spirited Away. Its an uplifting theme and it also occurs when Chihiro and Haku are falling from the sky because she remembered Haku’s name: Kohaku. What’s the name of that piece of music?

I’m afraid I don’t know the exact song, but if you go to the link below, you can hear previews of every song in the soundtrack – once you find the right one you can just search the name in youtube.

Hope that helps and you find the song you want – Spirited Away is an amazing film.

Is there any music creating program that I can use to not just edit, but to actually create music?

Friday, October 30th, 2009

I don’t play any instruments, but I sing and write lyrics, and I’m looking into making a demo CD. I’d like to create my own music for my lyrics by using some type of music creating program since I don’t play anything. Is there any music creating program that’s free (or not free) that I can use to not just edit, but to actually create music?

My cd player will not play music I burned from the pc?

Friday, October 30th, 2009

This is probably the most stupid question around, but I’m confused.. I downloaded music online (paid for) to my Pc, then copied it onto a flashdisc, then took the flashdisc to the laptop. There I copied the music from the flashdisc to the CD in the drive. It copied fine. But it doesnt play on the CD player in the car..
I used windows media player for the whole operation..
Where am I being stupid?

hope you have not burned an audio CD which may be supported by your player in car.

hope you have not burned an mp3 CD which may be supported by your player in car.

if both of these are false ,you may not rip the files
