sure most recent music are loaded with curses but it doesnt mean that the songs are only good because it has curses. nickelback has many songs that dont have any curse in them and are still good, so do other good bands.
so you can’t conclude that rock in the past few years has been good only due to tons of cursing. plus even if a song has 2 or 3 curses in it, it doesnt make it a dirty song.
and if u dont like the song just dont listen, no one is forcing you

Believe it or not, there’s actually christian metal that doesn’t curse yet strikes me as really good music. Decyfer Down is an example.

Let me just say this. Hard rock and metal became popular because they were seen as rebellious forms of expressions. They did what the Beatles and other old bands never dared to do: CURSE… The tradition still holds up.. METALLICA, NICKELBACK, SLIPKNOT, DISTURBED… ALL OF THEM CURSE… ALL NEW METAL BANDS ARE OGING TO CURSE BECAUSE THEY WANT TO CARRY A TRADITION.. jerami101, try to think about this before you take your kids to a concert where they play EXTREMELY LOUD MUSIC… “PEACE”

This gig was absolutely amazing. From start to finish they gave it their all and they warmed the crowd up amaaaaaaaazingly! People always bring nickelback down but its impossible not to enjoy yourself when you see them. They’re completely 100% absolutely a’fucking’mazing!!!

I respect old fashion style of rock. But these are the times we do live in. TV is getting more adultish and the internet is no help. But what ya going to do? I don’t think saying “I wouldn’t have went to see them again” because they swear. I mean if there good then go. Who knows when you’ll ever see them again. Thanks for the reply! As I stated above, I seen them before and it was a kid friendly show. I go to a lot of concerts and this one had the most profanity by far! I’m old fashioned in that I don’t cuss around women or especially children. It’s an unfortunate fact that there is such a thing as offensive language. Peace!
