Have you ever wondered what makes the place you work for an employer of choice – I was thinking of all the different places I’ve worked in the past and there are some that really stand out. The places I liked the most were the ones that genuinely seemed to care about their employees and went out of their way to make us happy. For example, the places that had many learning opportunities were always places that I favored. I didn’t always need big fancy courses – good online training was often sufficient. The best place though was the company that had what was called a “quiet room”. If you ever had a headache or were feeling stressed you could head off to the quiet room for a nap and then come back to your desk a half hour later recharged.
