I am trying to burn music from my computer to a cd. I have about 230 songs. I am only able to put about 20 songs onto a cd. I tried changing the settings. I changed the setting to convert (it says that it will fit about 47 hours of music to the cd), but it is still only putting 79 minutes to a cd. What am I doing wrong? I am using Windows Media Player and the songs in my library are in mp3 format, I think. Any advice?
I recommend using a different program. Windows Media player will only burn your files as wma or wav format, not mp3.

Why cant I burn music with Windows Media Player?
Monday, October 26th, 2009Why can’t I burn music with Windows Media Player? I have tried using another CD but nothing. I know the program is not expired? This has never happened before. I can rip CD’s though. I have Toshiba Satellite Laptop by the way.
Windows Media Player is freeware — it doesn’t expire.
Try another program, like iTunes.

What free website has music we can download to our PC and burn into CDs?
Tuesday, October 20th, 2009I have about 100 empty CDs that I can use to burn music in. But I don’t know what to do to do so. I can’t afford to buy music, so I’m wondering if there is a legal website that’s free, where we can get music from. Is there such thing? If so, which, where, how? Thank you…
Let’s talk about downloading FREE music the right way.
P2P (Peer to Peer or file-sharing) software like LimeWire, Ares, FrostWire, IMesh, BearShare etc., while popular, are risky in nature, slow and virus-prone, besides the fact that they slows down your computer.
If you want to download music fast, free, secure and safely go to:
http://searchformusic.blogspot.com/
It’s a specialized, free, powerful search engine for finding music to download for free.
It searches many (80+) carefully-selected direct-download virus-free sites that doesn’t require you to log-in nor register.
There you can find pieces or even entire albums and then download-it without downloading any software nor other complications.
It’s free and secure, but a little tricky, maybe you have to learn how to use it but the site explains all you need to know in order to find and download what you want.
Because it’s Google-based, you can use for your search all the power of Google, like using entire phrases enclosed in quotation marks, make use of AND, OR, and – (for excluding), etc. Then in just one powerful search you look at more than 80 music sites simultaneously!
Good luck & happy downloading!
PS. Get more CDs, 100 are insufficient
