I think they both give the same threat to a computer system. There is always a risk in your computer’s system every time you download anything from the net. So the preferable way that I can see is to have a dependable and really known programs that can protect your computer from virus threats.

I did some research on the ‘paid’ services a year ago (itunes, walmart.com, etc.) and my interpretation of the data I could find was that there were two main groupings:

1) The younger ‘kids’ who were mostly spending gift cards that they had received. They don’t have credit cards and don’t mind downloading ‘free’ music from limewire, etc. They are buying newer music and using it on their ipods and computers.

2) The ‘older’ generation, who are not as inclined to use the P2P services, and they are looking to load their ipods with the music they listened to in their younger years and don’t buy a lot of newer music.

Can it be done and how? Which music site would be the best to use?
