R&P: What’s your favourite band that plays music on that very thin line between Thrash metal and Death metal?

Posted by admin on January 17, 2010

Mine would be Death. I mean Death is Death metal but they have that Thrash-ey kind of feel.

How do you line up music in fl studio 9?

Posted by admin on December 19, 2009

when i say line up i mean so that all the tracks are on the same beat. for ex. piano is at 3 and strings are a beat 2 and a half. How do i line it up?

Have you tried separating your pattern into separate tracks and then edit them in the playlist editor? If not, go to the playlist editor, right-click the pattern you are working on, select: "split channels into patterns". Then organize the patterns to your liking (don’t forget to select "song mode" while working on this!).

What do you think of this wedding ceremony music line up?

Posted by admin on December 6, 2009

My bridesmaids walking down to ave maria by bach
im walking down to edelweiss by andre rieu
ceremony background music will be moonlight sonata by beethoven
and leaving the ceremony will be la rejouissance by handel

i just want some opinions other than my friends and family

Beautiful choices! but won’t it get a bit hectic? Do you need ceremony background music? I would leave that one out, because you don’t want a song competing with your vows!

Where is another place on line to listen to music that’s just like launch cast?

Posted by admin on December 1, 2009

I listen at work 3 days a week and now launch cast cuts me off. I need something that plays on its own and I want to rate the songs so I don’t have to listen to crap.

what is the music on the Direct Line Insurance advert?

Posted by admin on November 21, 2009

can anyone tell me what the instrumental music is on the Direct Line Insurance advert

I think it is Pink Floyd, but not "Careful with that axe, Eugene".

It is "Come in No 51 your time is up" – also by Floyd and almost identical.

The director of a film called Zabriskie Point wanted to use the music for his end sequence where a scorned woman blows up a man’s possessions to the music. Visually very similar to the advert – so looks like the ad’s director
was ‘inspired’ by the film.

Check out the clip to see the origin for the ad.

What are some cute romantic music videos with a good story line to them?

Posted by admin on November 19, 2009

I’ve already seen all the Taylor Swift music videos and of course, You Belong With Me, is my favorite. So I was wondering if there was any other similar music videos out there? I enjoy music videos with an actual story line to them. I prefer alternative/rock music, but it doesn’t really matter, just as long as the video is good. :) Thank you!!

I know this is an old song but

picture by kid rock and sheryl crow :)
