My sister played DDR (DanceDance Revolution) at a friends house and loved it. Now she wants a PS2 and DDR. She wants the one that allows you to download your own music off the internet I think. I have no idea which version it is and her B-day is coming up and I’d like to get one for her. Any Help?
That sure sounds like she’s played the DDR-emulator called Stepmania.
Stepmania is free, last I checked. You download it off the internet and play it on your computer. You can download thousands of step-files and even make your own. The makers of Stepmania went on to release a game called "In The Groove" which has the same principle (4 arrows) as DDR. You might check into that.
The way you stated your question seemed to imply that you were considering buying a new PS2 console for your sister just to play DDR. PS2s are somewhat outdated now that PS3 is out. I’d recommend that you avoid buying a moribund system if possible.

like the girl said before only stepmania can be downloaded from the internet with a bunch of other songs. well if you’re gonna get ddr for the ps2 i suggest maxx2 and supernova (i think that is the most recent for the ps2).

yes Stepmania liek they said. it is good but you would need a dance pad made for the Pc. umm if youyr gettign a ps2 the older ddr games liek Extreem Extreem2 and max are all exelent ones.. i say the more ddr games she gets the better because the more songs she has to practice on.
