What is the best way to download music off the internet?

(Consider risk of computer viruses and cost)

It is illegal to get music for free off the internet, with that said, there are numerous Peer 2 Peer networks that let you download music from other people (Kazaa, Limewire, Morpheus, to name a few). Once downloaded you can consolidate your music library to one place (Itunes, Windows Media Player, Real Player, etc) From here you can burn the songs to CDs. Or you can download directly through Itunes or other legal sites for something like $.99 per song. Legal downloads are free of viruses, illegal downloads may not be. Just be aware of the risk of viruses and getting caught with illegal downloads. Choose wisely
