Why are play kitchens so appealing? It’s hard not to oooh and aaah when you see some of these darling toy kitchens in the store or online or in a catalog. A toy kitchen just holds so much appeal to both kids and parents. One of the reasons I believe they hold to that caliber is kids love to emulate their parents. Cooking is something they see their parents engage in most every day. It is the center piece around so much of what the family does from socializing to nourishing the body. Kids recognize this and gravitate heavily to the ideals and fun that cooking can bring. Play kitchens give kids their own way of expressing these ideas and feeling so grown up.
