Can you download mp3 music on a Zune i-pod?

I want to know if you can download music on a zune. Sorry I’m new at downloading music online. Of course I’ll pay for it first, but before I pay for it, I want to know if it will work. I am used to just buying the whole CD from the store and downloading it at home on my Zune. So please help?

yes you can. you can change the setting in the zune as to how you want it to download to your zune. MP3, WMA, whatever. and it will download MP3 and pretty much anything you buy. by the way it’s not a zune i-pod. ipod is an apple product, zune is the window product.
