Ok…how to get you to understand this…. I don’t care how hard it is to “lay down a freestyle” I didn’t say I could. I’ve never tried and I don’t plan too. Also I’m an atheist and simply singing about god in choir doesn’t mean its good. But the god debate is beside the point. Choir requires alot more than just basic language skills. Knowledge of scales and notes and tonal memory, just put a few out there. Also choirs sing secular songs as well, not just “god songs”.

I don’t want to rap…I prefer to put my talents into choirs, more high school boys rap than sing in choir and choir takes more talent. All you have to have to be a lyricist is have a good vocabulary. Everything else might help, but ti not required, if you know what rhymes with what you can easily “lay down a legit freestyle”. Also, If you want me to seriously consider what you mean I would recommend learning correct grammar and spelling.
