My cd player will not play music I burned from the pc?

This is probably the most stupid question around, but I’m confused.. I downloaded music online (paid for) to my Pc, then copied it onto a flashdisc, then took the flashdisc to the laptop. There I copied the music from the flashdisc to the CD in the drive. It copied fine. But it doesnt play on the CD player in the car..
I used windows media player for the whole operation..
Where am I being stupid?

hope you have not burned an audio CD which may be supported by your player in car.

hope you have not burned an mp3 CD which may be supported by your player in car.

if both of these are false ,you may not rip the files

Check for scratches, does the cd work any where else like your computer or stereo?

Have you checked the manual for your CD player, alot of old players do not support CD-R format, which basically means they only play proper CDs not copied ones. All recent ones around 5 years old will most likely play copied ones.

You should see if other copied CDs work and if they do, then there is most likely a fault with your CD and it would be best to make another copy. If none of the copied discs work, then your CD player does not support copied CDs and you will have to either buy a new one (which you can get an excellent one for around £50) or use normal CDs that ou buy from a shop!

    Hope that helps!
