ive downloaded music (legally of course) into my music on xp and want to add the new songs onto itunes to update my ipod. Is there a way it can be done, like getting the computer to scann for files and recognise the ones i tunes does not have, without having to import/search and add each one individually??? Thanks x
In itunes, go to file – add file to library. Go to my documents – My music, and click on the files you want. Press ctrl – a to select all of the files

You know what bugs me is silly giggly girls coming here trying to be funny. hahaha. such as I am not good I ask my sister as she is good at that sort of thing. Then dont blooming bother as you are not in anyway funny. You are just annoying especially when someone is truely need a proper and reliable answer. Shame some sillies cant understand it.
Anyway regarding your question. I think these songs are somehow copyright protected etc. and You only have to open itune and first try searching for all songs on your pc if that didnt work then try to open via itune the individual song. You can also try to create a playlist of all those song and see if you can open the whole playlist in one go. good luck

find the song and right click, change properties from play with Media Player to i-tunes.
Alternatively, open I-tunes, loacate song wherever it is and click to play, it should open in i-tunes
